IDS and Mac Information

A NEW and ENHANCED software solution for accessing TEMPO with a MAC

Sandicor is proud to provide MAC users with something they've been asking for! MAC users can now access TEMPO utilizing IDS, a new software that will replace the current CITRIX solution. IDS (Information Delivery System) is a server based solution that allows MAC users to access programs that require running on a Windows computer. To date, IDS has been tested and the reviews are positive, including increased speed and better picture quality! Begin using the IDS solution today! Below please find an Installation and FAQ Guide, which will facilitate the installation process. From this documentation, members will be able to access TEMPO 5 via a MAC! Here are a few important items regarding the IDS Links program:

• Each user will need to enter Sandicor credentials (included in attached documentation) the first time they hit each one of the IDS app servers (Sandicor has three servers), but this needs to happen just one time. The 3 servers are load balanced, so it is unpredictable if the user will be directed to a server where they already entered credentials or not. However, after the user has hit all three servers and has successfully logged in once, the user should be all set. Users will login to TEMPO each time as normal after launching the Sandicor icon.
• Accessing TEMPO using the IDS solution permits users to view any recorded tutorials or videos, however NO sound is available due to IDS configuration difficulties that are being addressed.
