Sandicor Releases Fusion MLS™ as Alternative to TEMPO™ in Accessing San Diego MLS
San Diego, CA December 28, 2010 –Sandicor, San Diego County's regional multiple listing service of San Diego real estate and San Diego homes for sale, is pleased to announce they have released Fusion MLS™ asan alternative to TEMPO™ in accessing Sandicor's San Diego MLS data.
Fusion MLS™ by CoreLogic®, the next generation of MLS software, is a new browser-independent MLS system that provides a fast, fun, and easy MLS experience that emphasizes search multi-tasking, agent/client collaboration, home page personalization, and more.Fusion MLS™ uses the same back-end database as TEMPO™. TEMPO™ will remain in place and agents will have the choice of using either TEMPO™ or Fusion MLS™, or a combination of the two for their searches.
Fusion MLS™ can be used on Mac and Linux computers, as well as any full browsers capable of running Adobe Flash Player 10.1 or higher, such as Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. While Fusion MLS™ can also run on Internet Explorer (IE), it is recommended that IE be reserved for TEMPO™ searches since the IE settings on agents' computers are optimized for TEMPO™.
"If you own a Mac computer or like using Firefox, Chrome, or Safari browsers, Fusion MLS™ is a great new option for Sandicor subscribers," said Jeremy Crawford, Chief Information Officer for Sandicor."Remember, Fusion MLS™ is simply an additional way to access the same MLS datawith the latest technological advancements in features and user interface design; it is not a conversion. Sandicor subscribers will have the choice of utilizing either Fusion MLS™ or TEMPO™ when accessing the MLS database. For example, a subscriber can use a Mac or the browser Chrome at home to access Fusion MLS™ and then visit the office and use TEMPO™ as they currently know it," said Ray Ewing, Chief Executive Officer for Sandicor.
Common with most software releases, Fusion MLS™ will be rolled out in phases. Currently, Phase 1 and 2 are installedand available to all Sandicor MLS participants and subscribers now as a free member benefit; Sandicor plans to release Phase 3 in Q1 2011.
