San Diego Real Estate Listing Service Sandicor Announces New Updates to San Diego MLS
San Diego, CA (Marketwire) November 4, 2010 – Sandicor, San Diego County’s regional multiple listing service of San Diego real estate and San Diego homes for sale, is pleased to announce they have added several new updates to their San Diego MLS, including valuable updates to Realist, the addition of a valuable mortgage payment tool program, and new "green" features.
A new version of the Realist Tax database, Realist 2, is currently being beta tested by the Sandicor staff. Realist 2 is based on Adobe Flash, and is Mac-compatible is browser-neutral. Closely integrated with the Sandicor San Diego MLS, it utilizes mapping based on APN and not Street Address, and solves previous mapping issues in areas such as Rancho Santa Fe and with Lot/Land properties that lack a house number.
RatePlug, a mortgage payment tool program, has also been added as an optional MLS report. RatePlug will provide MLS subscribers with the choice to include up-to-date mortgage rate quotes from preferred lenders when emailing property listings to clients. Each RatePlug property report emailed to a client can include up to three approved, preferred mortgage lenders in a dynamic module with customized payment estimates based upon asking price, current rates, accurate property taxes, and insurance rates.
New updates have been made to Walk Score™, which was incorporated to the Quick Links Button Bar of each active listing in the MLS a few months ago. Walk Score™ calculates the walkability of an address based on the distance from the property to nearby amenities. The new updates will incorporate values and descriptions into the MLS database and allows them to be used in a search and then displayed in the one line search results (which can also be sorted). In addition, the Walk Score™ link will be available on the client/consumer reports and within the Sandicor client/consumer module (Client Gateway) where clients can view listings provided by their agent.
Sandicor is currently working on "Greening" their MLS with data entry fields to identify green features and certifications on homes. For example, the Residential Listing Input Form will include data entry fields (highlighted in green) for features such as Energy Star appliances, low flow bathroom fixtures, LED lighting and more.
