About
SANDICOR, INC. Background and History
Sandicor, a California corporation, was founded in 1991 by eleven Associations of REALTORS® in San Diego County. These eleven Associations combined their efforts and merged the data from three different Multiple Listing Services operating in San Diego County into one consolidated database. When Sandicor launched in January 1992 with its combined database and membership size, it was the largest regional MLS in the Country.
In order for this new company to effectively serve the number of members throughout the County of San Diego, service centers were established in various marketing areas. Today there are ten Sandicor Service Center locations in San Diego County.
Over the past eighteen years, many mergers and consolidations have taken place. Currently Sandicor is owned by the remaining three Associations of REALTORS® serving San Diego County. They are: East San Diego County and Pacific Southwest Association of REALTORS®, the Greater San Diego Association of REALTORS®, and the North San Diego County Association of REALTORS®.
